Jacqueline Fernandez, a Sri Lankan model and actress who was named Miss Universe Sri Lanka 2006 she is mostly an Hindi film maker. Jacqueline Fernandez was raised in multi-ethnic families . She was born in Manama (Bahrain) on 11 August 1985. Her father, Elroy Fernandez from Sri Lanka, is a Burgher. Kim Fernandez is of Malaysian descent as well as Canadian descent. Her paternal grandfather is Canadian, as are her paternal great grandparents, who come from Goa, India. Fernandez was in the music video for "O Sathi" which is a hit song from the music duo Bathiya and Santhush. Fernandez went to India in 2009 to take on an assignment as a model. Fernandez was a successful audition for Sujoy Ghosh's fantasy film Aladin (2009) which was her first role as an actor. She played Riteish Deshmukh's love interest that is based on Princess Jasmine's character. Fernandez has invested investment of Rs35 million (US$490,000) in Rakyan Beverages Raw Pressery in 2017. Fernandez was ranked 12th in the UK magazine Eastern Eye's "World's Sexiest Asian Women" list in the years 2008 and 2011. After being placed eighth in 2008, seventh, and 14th over the past three years, she was ranked third on The Times of India's "Most Desirable Women" list in 2013. Rediff.com named her one of the "Bollywood's most stylish actresses" in 2013. According to the website, Fernandez is India's first star to have part-financed an enterprise that sells consumer goods with this investment.
