Seehorn (born May 12 1972) is an American actress from the United States. Her
most well-known role is that of Kim Wexler, an attorney in AMC's Better Call
Saul (2015-2018), where she was twice awarded the Satellite Award as Best
Supporting Actress (Series, Miniseries or Television Film. She has also
appeared on the NBC miniseries Whitney (2011-2013) as well as ABC's I'm with
Her (2003-2004), and TNT's Franklin & Bash (2011-2014). Deborah Rhea
Seehorn was born in Norfolk, Virginia, on May 12 on the 12th of May, 1972. Her
mother was executive secretary in the United States Navy, her father was an
agent for the Naval Investigative Service. The family was based in Washington,
D.C., Arizona, Japan, and was frequently moved throughout her childhood. She
followed in the footsteps of her parents and grandparents by studying
architecture, painting, and drawing since a young age. Though she pursued all
of the arts in her life, she developed an interest in acting. In college she
was exposed to the world of contemporary theater. She received a BA degree in
Studio Art from George Mason University in 1994. Seehorn, who was studying in
college was interested in entering theater after being encouraged by her acting
professor. She attempted to be noticed by working at various ancillary jobs in
D.C. theater. She eventually got major parts in local theater productions but
had to take odd jobs to earn a living She was also cast in various short
instructional industrial films. Then she started to get roles in more
television shows, frequently playing roles that she described as "very
humorous, sarcastic, knowing women" which was similar to her idol Bea
Arthur. These roles are usually ended after only one to two seasons. In the month
of May, 2014, Seehorn was cast in the Breaking Bad spin-off prequel series
Better Call Saul. Seehorn is Kim Wexler, who is a lawyer , and also the love of
Jimmy McGill/Saul Wellman (Bob Odenkirk).
