Rita Ora (British singer-songwriter) is her name. She was born Rita Sahatciu Ora in 1990 in Pristina, Kosovo, to Vera (Bajraktari) and Besnik Sahatciu. Besim Sahatciu is her granddaughter. At the age of one, her family made the decision to relocate to England. Her home was West London. She attended St Cuthbert with St Matthias CE Primary School, Earls Court. After that she graduated from Sylvia Young Theatre School followed by St Charles Catholic Sixth Form College. She began singing at a young age. In 2004, she appeared on the British movie Spivs. After a successful audition for Eurovision The Country That is in need of You (BBC One) and being selected to represent Britain in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. She was later unable to participate in the competition after a few episodes, as she felt that the stage wasn't in good condition. Ora's debut music release came in 2007, when she was featured in the track of Craig David "Awkward" and later in 2008 with "Where is Your Love" with Tinchy Stryder. Also, she appears in music videos. Ora started singing in bars throughout London. Roc Nation was informed by an A&R representative about Ora in the year 2009 just days following Ora went to New York and met Jay-Z. Ora was in Jay-Z's 2009 music video "Young Forever", and "Over" from Drake. Jay-Z took note of Ora and quickly signed her up with Roc Nation. She was included in a commercial starring Skullcandy Aviator Headphones. She started singing from the same place where her father, Besnik, was a pub owner. She cites Gwen Stefani as a major influence on her demeanor and her band No Doubt's "Don't Speak" (1996) as one of her most cherished songs.Her video for Tezenis's, The Silk Code, is the title of a novel that was awarded the Locus Award for Best First Science Fiction Novel in 1999.She was thought of to play Iris West in Justice League (2017) before KierseyClemons was cast.
